ArmInfo. The Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF) signed a franchise agreement with Hard Rock International to open the Hard Rock CafeR brand in Yerevan, in cooperation with Food Republic.
According to the report, the opening of Hard Rock CafeR Yerevan in Armenia is scheduled for the second quarter of 2022. The Armenian side began negotiations with the well-known Hard Rock CafeR network back in 2019.
According to the founding director of Food Republic Arsen Hovhannisyan, the launch of such a world- famous brand in Yerevan will not only be a gift for Armenian visitors and guests of the capital, but also a new impetus for the development of the service sector, setting new standards in managing the quality of business and services, new standards of living sound. "Rock traditions will find their home in Armenia. We are glad to make Yerevan a new point of attraction for all Hard Rock CafeR fans," he said.
According to the source, ANIF is co-financing the project with a participation of 48%. One of the preconditions for cooperation of the ANIF Anti-Crisis Fund in all business support programs is the entrepreneur's willingness to invest at least 50.1%.
The first Hard Rock CafeR opened in central London back in 1971. Today the network operates in over 68 countries.
