ArmInfo. Armenia is reviewing the regime of entry of citizens into the republic amid a pandemic. The corresponding changes to the conditions of the quarantine regime were approved on May 6 at a government meeting.
As stated by the acting Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan, Armenia is revising the limits in parallel with the implementation of the vaccination process. Thus, citizens will be allowed to enter the country without undergoing a PCR test for coronavirus infection if they have a "green passport" - a certificate of receiving two doses of COVID-19 vaccine. Armenia will also abandon the requirement to pass an infection test for children under 1 year old.
In addition, as Avanesyan said, citizens who do not have a "green passport" and do not wish to undergo a PCR test, but have obvious symptoms of infection, will be isolated. Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in turn, noted that the third wave of coronavirus infection is showing signs of stability.
As of May 6, according to acting Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan, 7100 people were vaccinated against coronavirus in Armenia. Currently, there are three types of vaccines in Armenia: "AstraZeneca", "Sputnik V" and "Sinovac" vaccines.
