ArmInfo.The Ombudsman of Armenia Arman Tatoyan criticized yesterday's statement of the candidate for prime minister from 17 opposition parties Vazgen Manukyan to some citizens.
Note that yesterday Manukyan went on a visit to Gyumri, where a small group of citizens tried to block the Yerevan-Gyumri highway, but they failed to prevent Manukyan from entering the city. Later, in a conversation with journalists, Manukyan called them "homeless". Arman Tatoyan stated that offensive statements addressed to the citizens of Armenia are unacceptable.
"To preserve the atmosphere of unity in Armenia, all political and public figures should refrain from offensive language in their speeches. Every word must be carefully weighed. And naturally, the requirements for a candidate for prime minister are much tougher than for ordinary officials, "the Ombudsman emphasized
