ArmInfo. We will do everything possible and impossible not only for the development of telecom in Armenia, but also for Artsakh. Co-founder of the new telecommunication company TEAM Telecom, one of the owners of Telecom Armenia (formerly VEON Armenia) Alexander Yesayan said this during a press conference on December 3.
He explained that it is not only about canceling roaming, but also about improving the quality of communication and telecommunication services in the Artsakh Republic. <It doesn't matter if it is professional support or technical support. The main thing is that we are ready to introduce all our capabilities in this direction, "he stressed.
In turn, Hayk Yesayan reminded that roaming services in Artsakh have been completely canceled today, and citizens use telecom services free of charge throughout the year. "I am sure that if this approach continues, we will find a middle ground for our subscribers to make calls to Karabakh in the most convenient way. This issue has not yet been finally resolved, "he said.
Note that within the framework of the working agenda, the President of Artsakh received the Yesayan brothers, with whom he discussed issues related to the development of the telecommunications sector in Artsakh. It is reported that an agreement was reached on cooperation, within the framework of which significant technical and professional assistance will be provided, which will significantly improve the quality of communication services in Artsakh.
The NKR President, in particular, informed that in the near future all operators operating in the territory of the Republic of Armenia will be given an opportunity to carry out their activities in Artsakh. "I instructed the government to hold negotiations in this direction, which, in general, can be considered successful. Therefore, I can assure you that already at the beginning of next year we will have a connection corresponding to the quality and prices of communication services in the Republic of Armenia. At the same time, additional charges for cellular communication roaming will not be charged>, Arayik Harutyunyan said.
