ArmInfo. At the moment we have no information about the organization of any meeting between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Press secretary of the RA Foreign Ministry Anna Naghdalyan said this on September 1 during a briefing, referring to Moscow's proposal to organize a meeting between the parties to the Karabakh conflict.
"We highly appreciate the role of partners from the Russian Federation in establishing the ceasefire regime from 1994-1995. We are closely following the process and highly appreciate the constructive approach of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries in this process. But I would like to emphasize that at the moment there is no information about organizing any meeting," she said.
Touching upon the proposal of Tbilisi to organize a meeting between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the question of whether there are other proposals on organizing the meeting, Naghdalyan noted that these days various statements are heard from international partners. "We are in constant contact with the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group and the top leadership of the co-chairing countries. For us, the format for resolving the conflict is the OSCE MG. At the moment, the priority is to take steps to cease fire," she concluded.
