ArmInfo.A meeting of the Security Council was held in the Armenian government, chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Mane Gevorgyan, press secretary of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, announced this on her Facebook page. According to the source, during the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to countering the large- scale hostilities unleashed by the enemy on the Karabakh-Azerbaijani border, inflicting a worthy counterattack on it by the Armed Forces, and further steps.
The press secretary noted that in addition to the members of the Security Council, Armenia's President Armen Sarkissian, Speaker of the Parliament Ararat Mirzoyan, Minister of Emergency Situations Felixks Tsolakyan and Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Eduard Aghajanyan took part in the meeting.
To note, early in the morning of September 27, Azerbaijan began intensive shelling of settlements in Karabakh, including the capital of Stepanakert, going over to the offensive along the entire confrontation line.
