ArmInfo. Official Yerevan  reacted to the next attacks of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham  Aliyev against Armenia.

So, the press secretary of the MFA of Armenia, Anna Naghdalyan,  referring to the statement made by Aliyev during the visit to the  Khatai region of Azerbaijan, where he conducted another "historical  excursion" about Armenia and the Armenian people, assessed the  internal political processes in Armenia, and also touched on the  peaceful settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and criticized the  activities of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, recalled that  the Armenian side has already assessed these statements.

"I just want to add that a few weeks ago Aliyev, gloating over the  spread of coronavirus in Armenia, had no choice but to turn to his  isolated society by promoting the image of a" useful enemy.  "Armenian-phobic policy is Aliyev's last line of defense , and its  cover in the best way characterizes the growing internal crisis in  Azerbaijan and desperate moods.

It is ridiculous that the head of the country, where political and  economic power has been in the hands of one family for decades, which  is characterized as a repressive regime in the international arena,  gives an assessment of internal political events, human rights and  freedoms in Armenia. It is noteworthy that President Aliyev, with his  hostile and racist comments, takes an irresponsible and dismissive  approach with respect to the statement made a week ago by the OSCE  Minsk Group Co-Chairs, which expressed concern about hostile and  provocative rhetoric.

As Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a recent joint meeting of  the Security Councils of Armenia and Artsakh: "Attempts to turn the  Karabakh conflict into a long-term large-scale Armenian-Azerbaijani  enmity, where our peoples will challenge each other everything - the  past, present, future and the whole region, "Not in the interests of  either the Armenian people or the Azerbaijani people," "Naghdalyan  concluded.

Earlier, Aliyev once again criticized the Armenian authorities,  traditionally expressed claims to the historical lands of Armenia,  tried to denigrate the Armenian army and its command with ridiculous  accusations, and finally expressed dissatisfaction with the  activities of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs.  The President of  Azerbaijan accused the mediators of imitating the negotiation  process, and expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that they are  not taking any steps against attempts to return Artsakh to the  negotiating table. He assured the conclusion that Baku would not  negotiate for the sake of negotiations if there were no substantive  proposals.
