ArmInfo. On June 26, the database of the Russian-language newspaper "Voice of Armenia" was hacked. In connection with the incident, editor-in-chief Flora Nakhshkaryan turned to the National Security Service and the Police.
As a result of a hacker attack, access to the newspaper's website database was obtained, and some of the materials were deleted. The newspaper's team managed to restore some of the editorial materials.
To note, the newspaper was founded in 1934, and was originally called the "Communist". In August 1990, it was renamed the "Voice of Armenia". Flora Nakhshkaryan has been working in the newspaper since 1976, and took the post of editor in chief in 1992. The newspaper covers in particular such areas as politics, economics, science, culture.
