ArmInfo.On June 3, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the Terter region of Azerbaijan, where he delivered a large-scale speech, the lion's share of which  was aimed at denigrating Armenia.

So, Aliyev Jr. once again assured that from a political and legal  point of view, Azerbaijan's position on the resolution of the  Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is impeccable, and Armenia's position is  erroneous.  Continuing the line of state propaganda, he added that  Azerbaijan is supposedly several times stronger than Armenia in the  economic, military sectores and demonstrated this, including "on the  battlefield." In this context, Aliyev tried to convince his own  people that the Azerbaijani army not only won the "April war of 2016,  but also carried out a brilliant operation in Nakhichevan in 2016",  forgetting to note that it was the military-political leadership of  Azerbaijan  that requested Yerevan the cessation of hostilities in  Moscow after the large-scale military aggression against Artsakh,.

At the same time, Aliyev Jr. did not stop there, once again  expressing claims to the original Armenian territories, making an  absurd statement that "the vast majority of toponyms throughout the  territory of present-day Armenia are of Azerbaijani origin" and that  supposedly the Armenians were resettled to these territories during  the Russian-Persian war.

In the context of the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,  the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan again spoke out with  bellicose rhetoric, assuring that his only way is "restoring the  territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan." "We are gaining  strength, we must become even stronger. At the same time, the  geopolitical situation must be such that all our steps are  successful. I said that Karabakh is Azerbaijan, and I want to repeat:  Karabakh and Nagorno-Karabakh, which is its component part of it is  Azerbaijan, and an exclamation mark, "he said.

During the visit, he raised the issue of the Sarsang reservoir,  claiming that it was built with Azerbaijani money (apparently  implying the Soviet budget,  Ed. note) and accused the Armenian side  of environmental terror.

"They carried out terror even against their leaders. Twenty years  ago, many members of the Armenian leadership were killed in the  parliament of this country, and this crime is not solved. Although  its customers are known to everyone," Aliyev assured, and in this  context he decided to recall once again about the national hero of RA  Garegin Nzhdeh, who apparently doesn't let him sleep at night.  And  in conclusion of his speech, Aliyev naturally touched upon the  elections held in Artsakh, calling the elected NKR President  "fictitious" and the elections -"false".
