ArmInfo.Armenian President Armen Sargsyan had a telephone conversation with his colleague from Montenegro, Milo Djukanovic, whose planned official visit to Yerevan was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
As the RA President's press service told ArmInfo, the interlocutors exchanged information on the situation in Armenia and Montenegro in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, touched upon the challenges that arose as a result of the epidemic and the efforts of the two countries and the international community to overcome them.
The presidents touched upon the issues of the regional and international agenda, in particular, they discussed the experience of cooperation between Armenia and Montenegro in the context of interaction with the European Union.
The interlocutors pointed out the importance of deepening cooperation between the two countries, noting the existence of serious potential for the development of cooperation, especially in the areas of services, agriculture, information technology and tourism. In this context, the presidents touched upon the issue of canceling entry visas for citizens of Armenia.
Note that, as a rule, during the holiday season, Montenegro cancels the entry visa regime for citizens of the Republic of Armenia.
