ArmInfo. It will be possible to attract non-specialized medical workers in treatment of patients with coronavirus in Armenia. At a meeting on April 8, the government approved amendments to the law "On Medical Assistance and Public Services", which will be sent to the RA National Assembly in the established manner.
As noted in the certificate justification of the project submitted by the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Armenia, in the event of a shortage of personnel in a state of emergency, the Government of Armenia may allow non-core medical personnel or graduate clinical residents to provide the necessary medical care. In addition, it establishes the possibility of providing medical services, the list of which is not provided for by the license. For this reason, amendments are introduced to the law <On licensing>.
To recall, in Armenia, due to the spread of COVID-19, a state of emergency was declared from March 16 to April 14.
As of April 9, 921 COVID-19 cases have been officially confirmed in the country, 10 patients died.
