If there are discrepancies in Liberty Square, people will have the right to demand that the opposition forces should remain consolidated until they win, Heritage Party Leader Raffi Hovannisian said at today's rally.
Hovannisian urged the political forces and people to move from words to deeds. "Today it is for you to decide what we should do and in what direction we should move", he said.
He added that the country needs a revolution of spirit and thought. "This revolution will be constitutional, peaceful and legal", he said.
When speaking of the foreign policy, Hovannisian expressed his protest against Armenia's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union. "My words express neither Russophobia nor pro-Western sentiments. They only demand legitimate power", he added.
It should be noted that before Hovannisian's speech, Leader of the Armenian National Congress Levon Ter-Petrosyan said that Armenia may use the EAEU opportunities for development.
Hovannisian thinks such differences in the views of the two political forces' leaders demonstrate real pluralism, democracy and freedom of expression rather than discrepancies.
