Though the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) has already visited 7 provinces of Armenia and 10 administrative districts of Yerevan within the frames of its campaign, it has not yet understood whether the society comes out "for" or "against" the constitutional reforms, Secretary of the PAP Faction Vahe Enfiajyan said at a press conference in Yerevan on November 19, when replying to ArmInfo's question.
He said that the Armenian society's stand will be clear on December 7 when the referendum results are summed up. "We try to explain the core of the reforms to the citizens," he said, noting that the constitutional amendments make it possible to decentralize the power and to deepen the democratic processes in the country. "This constitution gives more powers to the opposition and enables the small political forces to obtain seats in the Parliament," he said.
The constitutional referendum in Armenia is scheduled for December 6.
