It was announced during the May 15 commemoration evening
dedicated to Stepan Gishyan, former CEO of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, that a
"Stepan Gishyan" benevolent fund was set up upon the initiative of
the Bank.
"The Fund will direct its activities towards the
deepening of the Armenian-French relations and the consolidation of this
friendship. Young people, who will create new values and build a new future of
the Armenian-French friendship, will be the
beneficiaries of the Fund. Every year the Board of Trustees will discuss the
submitted projects and choose those which meet the bank's purposes. I would
like to express my gratitude to "Credit Agricole" French Bank that
has been supporting us since the moment we had the idea of setting up the
Fund", said present CEO of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank Hakob Andreasyan.
