Hovik Abrahamyan, the newly appointed Prime Minister of Armenia, has already started forming the new Cabinet.
Abrahamyan has told the journalists that he calls on all political forces, civic and public organizations to start cooperation. "At the moment we are negotiating and I do not want to specify the details before the talks are over", says Abrahamyan. He assures the media that he will continue working transparently.
Abrahamyan disagrees with the journalists' opinion that the country faces a hard socio-economic situation and high migration rates. "There are some problems that can be resolved and the economy will recover", he stressed. He added that ex-premier Tigran Sargsyan has already congratulated him.
As regards the pension reforms, Abrahamyan promised to conduct them for the welfare of the people. "We are not the enemies of our people. Optimal solutions should be found, but they need big financial means", he says.
The first step of the new Premier will be to discuss all the current problems and possible solutions with all the interested parties.
