ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank has launched an ACBA Mobile app for iOS and Android-based devices. The Bank has also launched a Phone Banking service for individual customers.
The service allows the customers to promptly make banking transactions without visiting the Bank. The official presentation of the new services took place on September 16.
"The specified products have been designed in tune with the time to ensure maximum convenience for the customers and to save their time. Both our partners and foreign experts highly appreciate these products and those who like innovative technologies will especially appreciate them," Hakob Andreasyan, CEO of ACBA Credit Agricole Bank, told reporters during the event.
ACBA Mobile enables the customers to manage their banking accounts at any time and in any place by using a smartphone or a tablet with internet access. In particular, an ACBA-Credit Agricole customer can transfer funds from his/her own account to the account of the same bank's customer, as well as to the account of another bank's customer. The app allows the customers to replenish their deposits, make utility payments, convert currencies, send and receive messages from the Bank, get detailed information about the payables to the bank and reminders about the current redemptions. No matter whether they are ACBA- Credit Agricole customers or not, the users can see the nearby ATMs and branches of the Bank on the map, as well as the exchange rates set by the Bank.
The ACBA Mobile app can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. To activate it, one should apply to the Bank's branches. From Sept 16 till Oct 30, the service will be provided to individuals free of charge.
The Phone Banking service allows the ACBA-Credit Agricole customers to transfer funds to the current, card and deposit accounts of both the same bank and other Armenian banks, as well as to make utility payments; open, close or replenish a deposit account; open a current account in terms of other currency, convert the currency; change the limit of transactions; fill in loan applications and references for embassies, etc.
The transactions via Phone Banking are made only after customer identification through a 3D security system. The transactions are reflected in the account statements. The customers also receive SMS messages with detailed description of the transactions, which keeps the personal data of the customer and the data of transactions safe. To make use of Phone Banking, one needs to conclude a relevant agreement at any branch of the Bank. The customers applying from Sept 16 till 30 Oct will enjoy the service free of charge.
