Today, at a press-conference Board of Executive Directors CEO Yury Gusev said that VTB Armenia investments in branch network modernization and reformatting exceeded 5 million USD.
According to him, in 2014 the bank managed to implement most projects designed in the development strategy of retail business in Armenia. The branch reformation project is one of those projects. "The project is completed. Over the past 3 years our branch network has undergone significant changes - we have reached a new service level and quality. We have also improved and modified the product line in order to provide international standards services", said Gusev.
The reformation project implied technical re-equipment, introduction of waiting system regulation, payment terminals in order to meet the VTB group single standard. The employees had training sessions and took evaluation exams. The bank aims at retail services improvement that will allow to provide better customer support, service quality and client follow-up complaint procedure optimization.
Another important 2014 project was the merging of VTB and ACBA-Credit Acrigole bank ATMs. The project allows the two banks' cardholders to use the services on the same terms. The common network is the largest one and comprises 345 banks all over Armenia.
"The bank's primary 2015 objective is to improve the remote banking services. We currently offer SMS-banking, Bank-mobile and Internet-banking services", said the Head of the bank.
