Azerbaijan has concentrated a great number of military equipment and machines in the Nakhijevan part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, Head of the Permanent Commission on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs of the National Assembly of Armenia Koryun Nahapetyan told today journalists at parliament.
At the same time he emphasized that Armenian Armed Forces control the situation. "Our Armed Forces are ready to give adequate response to any infringement", he assured. To note Azerbaijan has also moved a large number of military equipment to the line of contact with Nagorno-Karabakh.
Nahapetyan also informed that a new Bill on Military Service will be put on the agenda of the Armenian parliament in 10 days, which envisages cancellation of determents of those 18 years and elder army conscripts who have entered highly education institutions. According to the document all the army conscripts who have reached 18 years and are able-bodied for military service will be qualified for induction.
