The parliamentary factions of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) urge the law-enforcement bodies of Russia to revise the conditions of Levon Hayrapetyan's imprisonment - to considerably mitigate the sentence and to release him out of humanitarian considerations. "The factions of the Artsakh Parliament express their concern over the current grave condition of Levon Hayrapetyan. The list of his serious diseases (cancer, diabetes, arterial hypertension, post-stroke condition) cause big concerns. These diseases really endanger his life in prison. A patriot and a loyal son of his people, Levon Hayrapetyan has implemented numerous charitable programs in Artsakh, contributing to the country's development. His activities also give high priority to consolidation of the Armenian-Russian friendly ties," the lawmakers of Artsakh stress in their statement. The statement has been signed by the members of the following parliamentary factions: Motherland, Democracy, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, Movement-88, and Revival.
