Armsol Company presented at ArmTech Congress-2015 an ArmSol solar battery Case, which looks like an ordinary case for smart phones. The case weights 70g. As ArmSol's business coordinator Avag Sayan told the ArmInfo's correspondent, the Company intends to design 3 types of cases, depended on the user's activity. He added that the price of the case is around 30- 45$.
"The peculiarity of this case compared to its equivalents of other brands is that it does not have internal battery and this prolongs the case's period of use to up to 2 years. At a temperature of 25-30 Celsius the device charges 3% in 5 minutes, from electric light the device charges longer", ArmSol's engineering specialist Arthur Movsesyan explained.
"Mobile connection has changed the world, minimizing distances, speeding up decision making and receiving information. Thus, a lot of people become so attached to their mobile phones that they feel discomfort without them. This discomfort is called nomophobia (no-mobile-phone phobia), which is the fear of being out of mobile phone contact. The study held in Great Britain found that nearly 53 percent of mobile phone users in Britain tend to be anxious when they lose their mobile phone, run out of battery or credit, or have no network coverage. Other surveys show that the number of such people is even more (66%). Teenagers suffer from nomophobia most (77%). The number of people suffering from nomoposhobia is increasing. Thus, ArmSol solar battery case is a some kind of fight against nomophobia", Movsesyan noted.
