Political expert: Reports that the Azeri Parliament might adopt a law "On Occupied Territories of Azerbaijan" were just an attempt to see the reaction of the Azeri society, Armenia and the world community
Marat Terterov: Armenia’s long term security will be better served by strengthening economic security, rather than defining national security on the basis of the Tsarist Russian catch-cry “armiya i flot”
The ARFD, Heritage, Armenian National Congress and Prosperous Armenia parties have asked Speaker of Armenian Parliament Hovik Abrahamyan to organize a parliamentary meeting with law enforcers concerning the Vahe Avetyan case.
The parties explain that some of the MPs want to know the details of the case.
To remind, military doctor Vahe Avetyan was beaten by security guards of oligarch MP Ruben Hayrapetyan in the latter's Harsnakar restaurant on June 17. He was severely injured in the head and died on June 29 despite doctors' attempts to save his life.
The police are investigating the case. Six people have already been arrested.
