Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan has promised the media that the country will see economic growth in H2 2015. The promise was the response to today's criticism of the second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan regarding the economic situation in the country and the growing debts of the republic amid the socio-economic crisis.
"We realize all the negative phenomena specified by Kocharyan and we are also concerned about them. But one should also realize that the current situation has its objective reasons, such as international processes, Russia-West confrontation, which cannot help affecting the economic situation in the country", said the premier.
He assures the media that the Government is taking all measures to improve the situation and that the results will be obvious in H2 2015.
When speaking of the detention of the Founding Parliament members, who were going to start round-the- clock actions of protest against the ruling regime on April 24, Abrahamyan says that everything was done within the limits of the law.
