Armenian National Assembly member Nikol Pashinyan has put into circulation a Bill On the near border communities of Armenia. The Bill looks to increase the social protection of the near border community residents, Pashinyan said in a Facebook post.
He said the Bill was drafted following numerous meetings with the residents of the above communities in July-August and is based on their needs. Thus, the Bill suggests a 50% discount on communal payments, exemption of the land and property taxes, provision of housing (within a month) to the residents whose houses were damaged by the enemy shots, as well as free of charge treatment and annual government assistance to the civilians wounded by the enemy shots.
