The OSCE Minsk Group has been turned by the co-chairs states into an informal platform for discussing their own problems, Nagorno-Karabakh's foreign policy and security Masis Mailyan told journalists on Monday.
"Even the growing confrontation between Russia and the West is not an obstacle for the US, French and Russian co-chairs. This format has often been used for regulating US-Russian relations in the past. The main thing here is that having own purposes in the region, each of the co-chairs state is interested in peace and stability there," Mailyan said.
He believes that the removal of Nagorno-Karabakh from the peace talks was a mistake. "I am sure that Nagorno-Karabakh's return into the talks will contribute to peace and stability in the region," Mailyan said.
