The security measures at the Armenian Parliament have been tightened.
ArmInfo's correspondent in the Parliament reports that since early morning the employees of the security service have been inspecting all the official cars driving up to the building of the National Assembly. It is noteworthy that the entry is open only for the cars of the Parliament leadership, the prime minister and a number of ministers.
The security service does not explain why the security measures have been tightened today.
Meanwhile, on November 20 the Armenian Standing Parliamentary Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs will hold hearings on tightening of the technical security measures.
To note, never before have the security service employees examined the lawmakers entering or leaving the Parliament.
