Issues of peace and security will be the main priorities of Germany's chairmanship of the OSCE, German Ambassador to Azerbaijan Heidrun Temple told reporters in Baku on January 11.
APA reports the ambassador said that the German Foreign Minister will announce the country's priorities at the OSCE Permanent Council in three days.
She said that attention will also be paid to the issue of frozen conflicts, including the conflict Azerbaijan is involved in.
She pointed out that Germany will also give high priority to development of economic relations between the countries of the OSCE. "It is planned to hold various business forums and conferences which will be open for all member states," said Temple.
To note, Germany took over the OSCE chairmanship from Serbia on 1 Jan 2016.
