Arsen Khojoyan, 25-year-old shepherd from Tavush province of Armenia, who had been taken captive in Azerbaijan, has killed a 17-year-old girl in Armenia.
The Armenian Police has told ArmInfo that on June 25, 17-year-old Astghik Anisyan, a resident of Shnogh village of Lori province, who was temporarily staying in Verin Karmiraghbyur village of Tavush province, died in Shamshadin hospital.
She was taken to hospital on June 24 in a grave condition - with seven stab wounds.
Arsen Khojoyan, 25-year-old resident of Verin Karmiraghbyur village, was detained on suspicion of committing the crime. He confessed his guilt and was arrested.
To note, on 7 March 2014, Khojoyan was taken captive in Azerbaijan. On April 10, 2014, he was transferred to the Armenian side. He has suffered physical and mental health problems since he was repatriated.
