Tbilisi. Ex-premier of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili again disproved the opposition's affirmations that he ruled the country from the lobby.
Leading oppositional forces of the country - the former ruling party United National Movement (UNM) and current oppositional party of ex-Defense Minister Irakli Alasania Our Georgia-Free Democrats stated not once that Ivanishvili made decision in the country.
"The head of the government rules the government, the ministers fulfill their functions. I am phoned very seldom for a piece of the advise. It is normal. Such developments are observed in the whole world. I have no any levers for ruling them. I have no relatives or friends in the government", Ivanishvili noted.
Meanwhile, as the Georgian parliamentary Speaker Dvaid Usupashvili stated in March, that despite quitting politics, Ivanishvii maintains power in the country and his opinion is not only a position of the ordinary citizen.
President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili noted that the country was to be ruled by strong institutions, but not from the lobby. He commented in such way dismissal of Alasania from the Defense Minister's post at the beginning of November 2014. A bit later, in December, the President stated that Ivanishvili was to declare openly about his influence on political processes in the country.
