British Film Festival 13th Love Edition will launch this year on 14 February and will be dedicated to the idea of spreading and keeping love, the press service of the British Council reports. The festival will be held in Yerevan from February 14 to 20. This year the audience will enjoy seven movies, which were released in 2014 about love, loyalty, rules made by society, struggles for happiness and victory. The British Council is delighted to offer the audience all possible genres starting with comedy and psychological thrillers to documentary dramas with all variety of topics: music, social problems, family relations, and, of course, love.
The festival will be opened by the movie "The Imitation Game" in Moscow cinema at 16.30. Movies will be shown also in Cinema Star. Entrance is free for all the movies. Movies will be in English as well as with translation.
During the festival, competitions will be held as well as a special screening dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First World War.
After the end of the festival in Yerevan, movies will be shown in Dilijan, Armavir and Ararat. This year the festival is being held with the support of the British Embassy in Yerevan and the Ministry of Culture of RA.
