ArmenTel (Beeline trademark) and British Council Armenia have announced regional start to the 12th British Film Festival. Throughout March people in Gavar, Goris and Gyumri will be able to watch the best British films.
"The key goal of our social responsibility programs is to help Armenia's regions to develop and to make the lives of local communities better. This project will familiarize young people all over Armenia with British cinema and will inspire gifted youths to create films of their own and thereby to contribute to the development of film-making in Armenia," ArmenTel's CEO Andrey Pyatakhin said.
According to Director of British Council Armenia Arevik Saribekyan, the organizers of the festival could not neglect the country's regions. "It was important for us to present the films also to people living in remote towns," she said.
In Gavar the presentations will take place Mar 5-7, in Goris Mar 10, in Gyumri Mar 14-16. The admission is free.
The highlight of the 12th British Film Festival is social integration of people with disabilities. The organizers are British Council Armenia, the British Embassy in Armenia and UNCEF, the sponsor is ArmenTel.
