World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen, who arrived I Armenia on 22 June at the invitation of Russian businessman Ruben Vardanyan, Acrois Company and IdeA Foundation, gave a chess simul for representatives of the Armenian IT-sector and the Parliament.
Carlsen beat all the participants except MP Tachat Vardapetyan (Republican Party of Armenia). Talking to reporters, the Armenian parliamentarian, who beat the world chess champion, said he did not expect such result. "It is the most significant event in my life," Vardapetyan said.
Today on June 23, the world's best play Mugnus Carslen will visit the Syunik region, Armenia, to give another simul with 20 priests of the Tatev Temple. The founder of Acrois Company Sergey Belousov, Head of Almaz Capital Partners Company Alexander Galitskiy, and leading representatives of the IT-sectors are accompanying Carlsen during his ongoing visit to Armenia.
