In the first half of 2016 the number of incoming transfers grew by 26% y-o-y amid growth of outgoing transfers by 41% y-o-y in Anelik Bank. The press-service of the bank has told ArmInfo that the highest growth was registered in transfers made in EUR and RUR.
According to the source the number of EUR transfers sent to Armenia increased by 77% y-o-y, while those sent from Armenia grew by 66% y-o-y. The number of received RUR transfers increased by 25% y-o-y and the number of RUR transfers sent from Armenia grew by 77% y-o-y.
"Growth of money transfers is determined by introduction of new systems of money transfers as well as increase of the client base of the bank", Anelik Bank's PR Representative Astghik Martirosyan said adding that the bank provides its clients-owners of Anelik-Transfer cards an opportunity to receive the money funds sent to them by just making a telephone call without visiting the bank.
To recall, Anelik Bank works through such money transfer systems as Anelik, MoneyGram, IntelExpress, Ria Money Transfer, Sigue Money Transfer, Unistream, Converse Transfer and Moneytun.
To note, the sole owner of Anelik Bank is Credit Bank S.A.L. (Lebanon), which increased its stake from 89.95% to 100% in Q4 2013.
