The Heritage Party leader Raffi Hovannisian is ready to take part in the round-the-clock civil disobedience actions organized by the New Armenia Front.
At today's press conference in Yerevan, Hovannisian said that if the political council of the New Armenia Front decides to start round-the-clock actions of protest on December 1, he will take part in them by all means. But the further action plan is not determined yet, he said. He stressed once again that the future of Armenia depends on the Armenian society rather than certain politicians.
Hovannisian noted that the December 1 rally will present several scenarios of the further developments. He added, however, that he is unaware of the details of the strategy because was absent from the country. He said that his family and relatives live in the United States and that two weddings and several funerals were the reason of his absence from the country.
To note, on November 26 Zhirayr Sefilyan, the head of the New Armenia Front's campaign headquarters, said that the Front will start termless round-the-clock actions of protest in Liberty Square.
The constitutional referendum campaign kicked off on October 10. The referendum is scheduled for December 6.
