VTB Bank (Armenia) has won Public Rating's Best Bank award.
The press service of VTB Bank (Armenia) reports that MP Karine Achemyan handed the award to the bank's CEO Yuri Gusev on Monday.
The Best Bank is one of the 30 awards granted in the fields of banking, telecoms, construction and industry each year as a result of a poll carried out by Gallup International Armenia on the request of Public Rating company.
"This is a big event for us. The award is the result of our hard work and devotion. We would like to thank the organizers for their impartiality. This award will encourage us to enlarge our business," Gusev said.
The poll was conducted among 1,067 people all over Armenia. The key evaluation criteria are corporate responsibility and social commitment.
VTB Bank (Armenia) joined VTB Group in Apr 2004 and is owned by Russia's second biggest bank VTB Bank. The bank has the largest branch network in Armenia's banking sector (67 branches).
