Official Representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova considers that the most important thing on the current stage of Karabakh settlement is to ensure that this process finishes in a maximally constructive way giving the sides hope for peace.
Zakharova stated at today's briefing that there can not be any surprises in negotiations on Karabakh settlement answering to the question that whether lack of information about the details of the negotiations may turn into unpleasant surprise for the societies of the conflict parties in the future. "There can not be any unpleasant surprises as this is a negotiation process, in which experts from all the sides are involved. This is called a shuttle diplomacy", she said.
Zakharova noted that such a thing could have happened if one of the sides of the conflict did not participate in the negotiations.
She thinks that the current moment is very important and it is necessary to ensure that all the teams play for the common result. "The result is cease of violence and prevention of possible bloodshed", Zakharova stated.
