Beeline Armenia Company and Child Development Foundation have announced a start of a joint project "Knowledge for Welfare." The project is implemented in several phases. One of the project phases entitled "The World through the Eyes of Children" was held in Goris, Syunik Region, on Monday.
The event starter with an exhibition "Everything Starts with Peace." Afterwards, a theatrical performance was held with participation of pupils of the local School No 4 and the Kindergarten after Vazges Sargsyan. "Children have always been in the focus of Beeline's attention and the projects that have been implemented in the current year not only made the life of dozens of thousands of children better, but also fill their days with positive emotions. Looking at the happy faces of children, their enthusiasm, I can state for sure that we have chosen the right way and we are determined to go up to the remotest areas of the country," Tatev Ayrumyan, Public Relations Manager at Beeline Armenia, told reporters.
"Children Development Foundation has always advocated for development of children's rights in Armenia, focusing on this process in the regions. Through the feelings and imagination of children we try to attract the public attention to such problems as political and economic situation in the country, poverty and unemployment," said Lusine Simonyan, Head of the Children Development Foundation.
The event brought together as many as 400 children. The authors of the best paintings and compositions received encouraging prizes.
Beeline and Children Development Foundation launched cooperation in April 2011. They have set up a theatrical group "We" comprising children with special needs and pupils of the general education schools. Special events and art therapies are regularly organized for children to develop their mental and physical abilities.
