Without having specified the Nagorno-Karabakh status there is no way of finding a comprehensive settlement of the Karabakh conflict, James Warlick, an American co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group, said during a July 20 press conference in Yerevan.
A comprehensive settlement, he says, envisages a status issue. The free exercise of choice of the Artsakh people matters in respect of specifying the aforementioned status.
He has also said that OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs hope to have arranged a meeting for the Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents by the end of the year.
