Tbilisi. NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia, James Appathurai, will meet with President of Georgia Giorghi Margvelashvili and Prime Minister of the country Irakli Gharibashvili, Georgian Mass Media report.
Appathurai intends to discuss reforms, aimed at Georgia's rapprochement with NATO, with the first persons of the state and the government.
"I have come here because of two reasons, one of them is NATO Week, which has already begun. I intend to attend the conference. I will visit Gori (Shida Kartli region) for the first time to attend events there", Appathurai said.
Different youth conferences and debates will be held in the framework of NATO Week in Georgia.
Opening of a new regional bureau of the NATO and EU Information Center has been scheduled in Gori (Shida Kartli region).
