The information about Armenia and Azerbaijan's presidents meeting will be provided in due time and due form, Tigran Balayan, Press-Secretary of Armenia's Foreign Ministry told ArmInfo's correspondent, touching upon the publication of Hraparak newspaper that the meeting will take place on December 1 in Paris.
To note, earlier, Eduard Sharmazanov, Spokesman for the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) informed that the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents - Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev - will meet in early December 2015Vice Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, told journalists. Earlier the U.S. Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick told journalists that the Sargsyan- Aliyev meeting will be held following the constitutional referendum in Armenia, which is scheduled for December 6.
Meanwhile, Novruz Mammadov, deputy head of Azerbaijani presidential administration, chief of the administration's foreign relations department told reporters on November 20 that a decision about meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents has not been made yet. Nevertheless, in case there is a noticeable intention to take a step forward, such a meeting can take place, Mammadov added.
ArmInfo's sources confirm this information, noting that currently there is no concrete agreement about the meeting and the announced dates do not correspond to the facts.
