New Armenia Front for Public Salvation has disseminated a statement wherein it hails the public assistance in preventing the provocative attempts to link the opposition with Ґаг criminal gang that was detained in Yerevan on November 25. "Now when the public has made sure that it is the authorities that destabilize the situation in the country not the opposition, New Armenia Front of Public Salvation is ready to assist the law-enforcement agencies in the public order and national security enforcement," the statement reads.
To implement these goals and restore the public trust in the national security system, New Armenia From suggests the law-enforcement agencies to meet and discuss practical steps and additional security measures ahead of the series of opposition rallies that will start on December 1.
To note, on November 26 Zhirayr Sefilyan, the head of the New Armenia Front's campaign headquarters, said that the Front will start termless round-the-clock actions of protest in Liberty Square. The constitutional referendum campaign kicked off on October 10. The referendum is scheduled for December 6.
