The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) is dissatisfied with the OSCE Minsk Group's statements because they retain parity in responding to acts of aggression in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, Vahram Baghdasaryan, Head of the RPA faction, has told ArmInfo.
"We demand setting up expert groups to investigate the incidents on the line of contact and on the border. We also demand that the OSCE Minsk Group clearly point at the real terrorist and aggressor that hampers the peace process," he says. "The statements should be specific," he notes.
Baghdasaryan also thinks that the Armenian parties do not spare efforts to resolve the conflict peacefully. "Azerbaijan is unable to unleash large-scale military operations, however, this slow war is very harmful, because each soldier's life is precious for us, while Azerbaijan does not care a bit for its soldiers," he says.
To note, on September 24, the tension on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border sharply ran high. The Azerbaijani armed forces shelled the Armenian settlements, killing three civilians. On September 25, the Azerbaijani troops intensively fired at the Karabakh positions, killing 4 Armenian servicemen and wounding 16.
