Iran named the responsible for crash of Tu-154 passenger plane conducting Tehran-Yerevan flight in 2009, which caused death of 168 people.
As the RIA Novosti informs citing representative of Tehran's prosecutor's office Ghasi Shahriari according to the conclusion of the commission on investigating the causes of Tu-154M crash in Iran in 2009 Russian designing company and the staff servicing the flight were announced responsible in the incident.
"The crash was caused by disorder of compressor valve. Ultimately, Russian company-designer and the staff responsible for servicing the flight are announced guilty", Shahriari stated.
According to him the reestablished commission will investigate the case on negligence of the former leadership of Caspian Airlines in purchasing and exploitation of the plane.
To note, To recall, on 15 July 2009 the passenger aircraft Tu-154, which was implementing Tehran-Yerevan flight, crashed and all 153 passengers and 15 members of the crew died. It was also technically inspected in June 2009 and was allowed to flight till 2010.
