"Today Armenia is being ruled by a group of criminals. Each year they steal as much as $2.5bln from their people. They give high offices to abusers and murderers - today's appointment of Surik Khachatryan as governor of Syunik region is the best example of this. But they have exhausted themselves and must be removed," Zurabyan said.

The opposition finished the rally with calls for the President's resignation and Queen's We Are the Champions.
