ACBA Leasing company is participating as financial partner in the Week of Economic Capacities, which is being held in Yerevan on May 19-22 within the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) "Private Sector Development in the South Caucasus. Economic Integration of Syrian Armenians" Program, Marketing Specialist of ACBA Leasing Julia Nickoghosyan told ArmInfo's correspondent on May 20.
According to the specialist participation in this event provides opportunity to learn more about the activities of small and medium enterprises run by Syrian Armenians, which will allow making certain offers of leasing products.
"The process of acquaintance and establishment of contacts is underway on this stage. And in this context it is important to present to the potential client the specifics of leasing products, provide them opportunity to realize the advantages of leasing and the difference between leasing and usual business lending. After this the client will be able to compare and choose the most reasonable alternative", Nickoghosyan noted.
To note, the most important goal of the program is to help the Syrian Armenians integrate into the economy segments and to give them an opportunity to get professional education, which will facilitate their participation in the market and will contribute to efficient conduct of their business. The program was elaborated by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and will last till October 2017.
According to the Ranking of Credit Companies prepared by ArmInfo, the total capital of ACBA Leasing made 3.2 bln AMD as of April 1 2016, the assets-13.2 bln AMD, 71% or 9.4 bln AMD from which account for loan portfolio. ACBA Leasing is absolute leader on the leasing market of Armenia; moreover it is the initiator of legislative amendments in this field as well as the first financial institution that introduced the practice of green leasing under Green Leasing sub-brand.
