Tbilisi. 13 people were transported to local hospitals as a result of a clash between representatives of Bidzina Ivanishvili's coalition Georgian Dream and the authorities' supporters in IDPs' settlement in Karaleti village (Gori district, Shida Kartli region), Georgian Mass Media reported on Thursday, July 12.
According to the Mass Media's information, head of the Shida Kartli Information Center Saba Tsitsikashvili is among injured people.
According to physicians, at the present moment conditions of all affected people is satisfactory, three of then have brain concussion. They will be discharged for treatment at home after the first aid has been rendered.
MoI of Georgia has not commented yet the Mass Media information on injured people as a result of the incident.
MoI in its statement, disseminated earlier noted that it had started investigation of the incident in IDPs' settlement in Karaleti to reveal culprits.
"On July 12, 2002, a conflict occurred between supporters of the political coalition Georgian Dream and its opponents, verbal insults grew into a fight. Criminal proceedings have been instituted on the fact and at the present moment participants of the incident are being found out", was said in the statement.
MoI calls on all citizens of the country to be maximally restrained and act in the law framework.
