Russian President Vladimir Putin is holding a trilateral meeting with his Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev, RIA Novosti reports.
The talks on the Karabakh conflict settlement are going on in St. Petersburg.
Before the trilateral meeting, the Russian President held two separate meetings with the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents.
Sargsyan thanked Putin for his intermediary efforts in the Karabakh peace process. He confirmed that Armenia hopes for exclusively peaceful settlement of the problem.
Aliyev, in turn, expressed gratitude to Putin for initiating a trilateral meeting. He hopes the talks will give "constructive dynamics" to the negotiation process.
