ArmInfo. The principle of indivisibility of security has not been canceled. Such a point of view was expressed by CSTO Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov, answering the journalists' question about the assessment of the development of military-political situation in Europe today on the margins of meeting of the Organization's Foreign Ministers Council in Minsk.
"No one has repealed the principle of indivisibility of security, and any unilateral actions aimed at building up their own military capabilities somewhere under any pretexts and leading to a disruption of the balance of power at the regional and global levels will inevitably cause adequate opposition - both political and military " Khachaturov said.
He informed that CSTO Collective Security Council session will prepare a statement in connection with the 25th anniversary of the Collective Security Treaty and the 15th anniversary of the Organization. "And today, the ministers adopted statements expressing their concern about the situation in the field of information security and a consolidated opinion on the unbridled campaign of desecrating the memory of Soviet liberator soldiers who fell during the Second World War," CSTO Secretary General said.
