On June 26 in Yerevan in a conversation with journalists, answering the question about how the Armenian side refers to the fact that despite public discontent of Yerevan by the fact of the sale of weapons by Russia to Azerbaijan, at the end of this week it became known about the deliveries of Moscow's ultra-modern weapons from Moscow, Hakobyan, in particular, said: "The General Staff does not deal with such issues. These issues are in the competence of the country's political authorities."
On June 24 it became known that in accordance with the intergovernmental agreement and within the framework of successfully developing military-technical cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia, a planned supply of the latest military equipment to Azerbaijan was carried out. "A large batch of modern weapons arriving at the port in Baku in the near future will be sent to the front-line zone. This armament will strengthen the combat and maneuver capabilities of the advanced units of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan on shooting down armored vehicles, engineering and fortification structures, low-speed air targets, manpower and other enemy facilities. The supply of Russian military equipment and weapons to Azerbaijan will be continued," the Ministry of Defense reported.
