ArmInfo. Armenia and India continue negotiations on cooperation in the military-technical sphere. The Ambassador of India to Armenia Yogeshwar Sangwan stated this to Radio Azatutyun.
The ambassador noted that he cannot talk about specific agreements and terms, but the cooperation will take place in a timely manner. "Now the parties are discussing cooperation in this area. I do not have any clear timetable, but it will happen in due time on the basis of negotiations between the two sides," Sangwan said.
"India is ready to cooperate with Armenia in all spheres, we have excellent bilateral relations. Even in the sphere of defense, we are open for cooperation with Armenia. This issue has already been discussed between the governments of Armenia and India, and we will move forward, doing everything possible," the diplomat stressed.
The Indian Ambassador to Armenia also assured that the factor of Pakistan does not play any role in the Armenian-Indian relations. "India does not build its relations with any country, based on the factor of a third country. Consequently, our relations with Armenia do not depend on any outside influence. We do not allow third parties to influence our relations. We have very strong relations with Armenia, this is a very friendly country for us. We have cooperated in the international arena and will continue to do so," Sangwan said.
