ArmInfo. The Global economy and, accordingly, the globalization are here to stay, despite corresponding indications like BrExit and Donald Trump presidency, Russian political expert and "Russia in Global Policy" journal editor Fyodor Lukyanov states. "At the same time we should expect certain transformations and re-shaping of neo liberal and American oriented forms of globalization. The unity of rules will be permanently replaced by more segmented forms of those. And, considering the regionalization in policy and geo policy as unavoidable, players will have to find new forms of interactions with these smaller units.
According to the expert, the practical content and shaping of all this transformations, is pretty unclear. Earlier as the shapes of globalization were offered Transatlantic and Transpacific Trade partnerships, created by Barak Obama. But the active counteraction of the President-Elect Donald Trump in respect to implementation of such ideas cancels those fully. Lukyanov forecasts a return to the classic forms of interaction - for example, to bilateral free trade zones.
The expert estimates Russia's participation in such projects as a big challenge, demanding an implementation of quite another policy. But, due to expected concentration of United States at the level of domestic problems, announced by Trump, Moscow will have to find a new way.
